Still on the grind in The Big Apple. The store opening is approaching at a faster and faster pace – tomorrow at 67 Spring in SoHo to be exact. It’ll be an explosive day with great activities, visibility and hopefully a warm welcome to the city thanks to a decent execution both in front and behind the scenes. Either way I am anxious to find out, the planning has been dynamic and constantly pushing the boundaries for what I thought was feasible.
I felt so lucky when wifey AK paid me a visit for the weekend! It was the perfect manner to take a moment off of work and be myself in the best company. People that know us, would know that we ended up eating way too much of everything! And how could you not? It’s New York, city of 24/7 grub options everywhere!
Back on a work note, I felt like peaking for a second when releasing a teaser with childhood heroes and creative geniuses Dee & Ricky for the store launch. I reckon it symbolizes a new era for both brands and I am proud to have been a part of it!
Follow my adventures below.
Trying to outshine me on my bench. Good luck!
Window shopping on Bond st. Amazing patchwork! Makes one want to start quilting. But just for a minute.
The Statue of Liberty, a frown faced man with a VS secret for his mistress and then me. Too odd this brief Broadway tourist moment. I was actually trying to catch a cab after spending the morning with CEO’s and executives from the likes of Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Pret-A-Manger, etc. Dressed in GANT Rugger trousers, Shetland pullover and regiment tie, while the beautiful pinpoint shirt is from the recently launched Diamond G label from GANT. The wool blazer is a modern essential from H&M and shades are KaiBosh. Scandinavian brands ftw. For the curious it is a 1970 Cartier Tank Americaine wristwatch and Miansai hook and rope on the other.
Had to share! Beautiful open space and colors in downtown.
Goof balls Battery Park IMAX bound
Battery Park residents have decent conditions of living. I’d be alright with this!
The Hudson at sundown. AK took off on this note. A beautiful way to say our “see you in a minute” and goodbyes.
I like this guy. I like this magazine. And I really like this optical eyewear I am standing in. So I capture the moment.
I could literally eat, sleep, work and repeat all day everyday in this long button-down tartan check shirt from Zanerobe. My home, Mulberry St. after sundown.
What keeps me going! Freshly squeezed orange / pineapple juice and delicious and super un-healthy but colorful Cheerios.
Finally, make sure to follow the link for a teaser on the collaboration between Joe & the Juice x Dee & Ricky. Proud as ever! Releasing tomorrow!
Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you may be.
